At the Nile River Festival 2018
Hosted annually at the Nile River Festival, the Ben Holland Memorial Photo Competition is held in memory of one of our river community friends. Ben Holland, a talented photographer and kayaker, tragically lost his life in accident in Kampala in 2006.
This is a free to enter photo competition about recognising, honouring and showcasing all that is awesome about the Nile River Festival.
Prizes:
The festival is running on a much tighter budget than ever before and while we will strive to ensure there is a cash prize for both awards, it cannot be guaranteed and may be replaced with other equally desirable prizes. We hope to be able to award a minimum of:
$50 cash prize for the people’s choice
$50 cash prize for the judges’ choice
