This is our interactive Nile River Map to give you a feel for all the rapids that are on the White Nile in Uganda. The interactive map contains videos and images of all the main waves we surf, and rapids we paddle from grade 1-6 and is the perfect resource for anyone wanting to get more of an idea of what kayaking and stand up paddleboarding on Uganda’s world-famous White Nile is like.

Please note: this map is not intended to be used as a replacement for a guide, water levels fluctuate daily by as much as 5 feet, and for many of these rapids it is not possible to see them before the horizon line which makes it dangerous for paddlers who don’t know the river. This map features all rapids that are still available after the completion of Isimba and Bujagali dams.
